Everyone thought him dead, but actually, he was alive and thriving. The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel Series by: Michael Scott follows the story of twins, Sophie and Josh Newman, as they meet Nicholas Flamel and his wife Perenell, and are wisked into a life of magic and fantasy. By the looks of the official website, this series will have six books, with three already out and the fourth one do to come out May 2010. I must say that I have enjoyed the first three books very much. Like Which and Wizard, the books jump from one twins view to the other, and occasionally to other characters views also. What I find very interesting about these books is that they are written by days, and one day can go through-out most of the book, and be jammed packed with action; I like action. Another thing that I really like is that the books do a great job in explaining all the magical aspects, like the auras and the powers and how they are both linked to each other. In the beginning of the book, Sophie and Josh are enjoying a normal life with summer jobs, but by the end of the book they have been ripped from normal life, and Sophie's powers have been awakened. Also, these books have the evil villains, but they have been around for thousands of years. Oh, did I mention that they are also on the clock, or the Flamels could die.... oh no! That's all I am going to say because like always, I don't want to give anything away.
Here's a side note, I just check imdb.com, and they claim that there may be a movie about the first book coming out in 2012.
